Prediomagno was developed in 2015 in Grana Monferrato, Piedmont, by Emanuela Novello and her husband, Giovanni, after a long entrepreneurial experience.
From the rooms of a historic villa, the cellar extends underground for the entire length of the house. A hidden structure of almost two thousand square meters, designed with the precise intention of preserving the nature of the original place.
The cellar was created taking inspiration from strong values such as competence, technology, and innovation, but also respect for tradition. The winery currently holds almost 25 hectares of vineyards, and all their wines are single-varietal (no blends). It follows certified sustainable viticulture standards under the SQNPI scheme, ensuring high-quality integrated production methods.
“We don't just want to produce good wines and oil: we want this magnificent land to fully express itself in them. We would like each of our wines and oils, wherever tasted, to represent the beginning of a journey, the one towards the places we love.
So that one day a visitor will reach us and walk among our vineyards and olive trees, breathe them, experience them, and feel part of them, as happened to us!”
This is the desire of Emanuela and Giovanni that leads them to produce, among other labels, Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, one of the rarest grape varieties in this land and with so much potential. Indeed, they offer 5 labels from this grape: 3 different versions of red Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG, a still and sparkling Rosé.
In addition to the Ruchè, Prediomagno currently produces the following wines:
· Barbera d'Asti D.O.C.G. (2 versions: steel and Superiore)
· Piedmont Chardonnay D.O.C. (2 versions, steel and refined in oak wood)
· Piedmont Sauvignon D.O.C.
· Grignolino d'Asti D.O.C.
· Piedmont Pinot Noir D.O.C.
· Nebbiolo del Monferrato D.O.C.
