ELEKTRON²

Produced in the Colli Tortonesi area of Piedmont, ELEKTRON² is made from 100% Timorasso, a native grape variety of the region. The vineyards are located on south-west facing calcareous-clayey soils of the “Mombisaggio formation,” exceptionally rich in marine fossils. These fossilized deposits, with their distinctive white color resulting from the complete oxidation of organic matter, contribute to the wine’s minerality, salinity, and structural depth.

The vines are cultivated without chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or systemic products. Grapes are hand-harvested in the second half of September to ensure optimal ripeness and careful selection.

In the winery, grapes are de-stemmed and left in stainless steel tanks for 5–6 days of skin maceration at controlled temperature. Fermentation is then completed in small oak barrels, following a vinification style inspired by the natural, oxidative approach typical of the Jura wines of France. This method emphasizes the character of the grape and the expression of the territory while allowing complexity to develop naturally. The wine is neither filtered nor clarified.

Ageing lasts 16 months in wooden barrels, followed by at least 3 months in bottle before release.

In the glass, ELEKTRON² shows intense aromas of citrus, peach, and apricot, supported by spicy notes derived from fermentation in wood. The palate is structured, mineral, and persistent, with fine tannins, reflecting both the unique fossil-rich soils of Mombisaggio and the Jura-inspired vinification style.
