Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG

A 0.75 l bottle — the Erbaluce produced by the Castello di Azeglio winery is a white wine with a straw-yellow colour and luminous greenish reflections. Its aroma is vinous and refined, evoking wildflowers with hints of acacia and hawthorn. On the palate it is dry and fresh, offering deep sensations sustained by a savoury backbone that fades into slightly almondy notes.

In recent years, the Erbaluce di Caluso from Castello di Azeglio has been recognised at local Italian competitions. For example, at the 58th Grappolo d’Oro competition — a respected regional contest for Erbaluce wines — the Castello di Azeglio Erbaluce (in the “fermo” still wine category) was awarded the title in its category for standout quality among producers of Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG.
