Seeking partners for MSCA Doctoral Network on inequalities in palliative and serious illness care
About
I am seeking collaborators interested in developing a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network focused on inequalities in palliative and serious illness care. Potential research themes include disparities in symptom assessment and management (particularly pain), access to palliative and supportive care, cultural influences on care experiences, and the implementation of equitable models of care.
I welcome collaboration with partners from clinical medicine, public health, social sciences, data science, and health services research who are interested in interdisciplinary doctoral training and research in this area.
My work uses mixed methods approaches, combining analysis of large-scale linked healthcare data with qualitative research, ethnography and participatory co-design. Through collaborations with NHS partners, community organisations and policymakers, my research aims to develop and evaluate interventions that improve equity, quality and experience of care for people living with life-limiting illness.
Partners interested in contributing complementary expertise, training environments or international research perspectives are very welcome to connect.
