Urban Sociologist and Quality Assurance manager at the University

My expertise contributes to understanding the social and ecological impact of urban change, both within and outside the city. It examines how urban policies, urban planning, climate change, and technological advancements affect urban lifestyles, social change, and urban dynamics. Urban sociology is concerned with sustainable urban development and its socio-economic and ecological dimensions; this is what my contribution aims to address.

I worked for 4 years as an urban sociologist in a state-owned multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm (BET) responsible for operational studies in the fields of planning and urban development.
I worked as a consultant for private engineering and consulting firms in the same field.
I have been working for over 10 years as a consultant for a firm specializing in judicial expert assessments in the areas of planning and urban development, land management, and others.
I co-supervised, with architect-urban planner Professor Lazri Youcef, a doctoral thesis in the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Guelma in the field of housing.
I am regularly invited by the same department and by Constantine 3 University to serve as an expert member on doctoral dissertation defense panels.
I was consulted by the Thematic Research Agency in Social Sciences and Humanities (ARSHS) to evaluate research projects in the field of urban planning.

I am interested in the implementation of quality in university institutions and assessment methods, in my capacity as the head of quality assurance at my institution and as the head of the training unit for newly recruited teachers.
