Munster Technological University (MTU) is a leading Irish technological university with approx. 18,000 students across six campuses in Cork and Kerry. MTU’s research addresses regional, national and global challenges through five pillars: Life Sciences & Wellbeing; Physical & Engineering Sciences; ICT; Business, Entrepreneurship & Social Sciences; and the Creative & Performing Arts, Humanities & Media.

As a member of the INGENIUM European University Alliance since 2023, MTU expands mobility, joint programmes and joint research, amplifying impact. A capital programme of ~€180m is modernising laboratories, studios and testbeds, enhancing capability across photonics, CPS/IoT, biotechnology, maritime, sustainability and creative practice.
