Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVÜ) is a state university in Turkey with a strong commitment to social sciences and interdisciplinary research. The Department of Sociology at NEVÜ specializes in examining social transformation, digital culture, and the dynamics of contemporary society.

Our academic team offers extensive expertise in analyzing the impact of digital media on social cohesion, identity construction, and democratic resilience. We conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative research focusing on digital literacy, social inclusion of marginalized groups, and the prevention of radicalization and polarization within digital ecosystems.

As a department, we are experienced in providing sociological insights into lifelong learning processes, vocational education, and civic engagement. We aim to contribute to Horizon Europe Cluster 2 projects by offering local field access, socio-cultural analysis, and theoretical expertise to build inclusive and resilient societies across Europe and beyond.
