Migration call: inclusion, integration, and health
International Project Manager, Pre-Award at Fundació Sant Joan de Déu - Social Innova
About
SJD Social Innova, the social innovation programme of Fundació Sant Joan de Déu (FSJD), is interested in participating in this call as a partner, contributing real‑world piloting and social innovation expertise focused on the social, labour and health‑related integration of migrants and refugees.
SJD Social Innova works directly with migrants and asylum seekers in situations of vulnerability, often facing intersecting barriers related to health, legal status, skills recognition, language, employability and access to care, including:
-
migrants and refugees with mental health needs or chronic conditions,
-
young unaccompanied migrants navigating education‑to‑work transitions,
-
migrants experiencing precarious housing or social exclusion,
-
individuals facing structural barriers to labour market integration, and access to care and social services.
Our contribution to the project:
-
Piloting inclusive integration approaches that link migration, health and social inclusion, in real‑life service settings;
-
Testing pathways for labour market integration of migrants, particularly into care, social services and community‑based support roles;
-
Co‑designing integration models with migrants, frontline professionals, care providers and local stakeholders to ensure accessibility, dignity and effectiveness;
-
Contributing practice‑based evidence on how integrated responses (health, care and employment) support the objectives of the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum.
SJD Social Innova brings access to a network of social and health service centres that act as real‑world experimentation environments, enabling the validation and potential transfer of integrated migration and inclusion solutions across contexts.
We aim to strengthen consortia seeking credible implementation capacity, user‑centred social innovation and applied evidence to support inclusive, health‑sensitive and sustainable migration policies, rather than project coordination.
