About
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly embedded in European welfare and migration systems, shaping access to employment, services, and rights. While often framed as neutral, research shows that AI can reproduce inequalities. This project examines AI as a governance actor shaping inclusion and exclusion.
Objectives:
Develop a framework of algorithmic belonging
Identify AI-driven inclusion and exclusion mechanisms
Analyse migrant experiences
Examine trust and institutional dynamics
Co-create inclusive AI solutions
