About
This marketplace opportunity invites academic, industry, cultural, and public sector partners to collaborate on a Horizon Europe Cluster 2 (Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society) proposal under the Heritage-01 topic: “AI: Harnessing the power of the arts to address complex challenges, enhance soft skills and boost innovation and competitiveness.” The proposed project will investigate how the convergence of artificial intelligence and artistic practice can generate transformative approaches to tackling complex societal challenges, while strengthening human-centred skills such as creativity, critical thinking, empathy, and collaboration. It will position the arts not only as a domain of cultural expression, but as a strategic driver of innovation across sectors.
The consortium will adopt a strongly interdisciplinary and co-creative approach, bringing together expertise from the arts and humanities, computer science and AI, human-computer interaction, social sciences, and industry stakeholders. Engagement with cultural institutions, policymakers, educators, and citizens will be central to ensuring relevance, inclusivity, and societal impact.
Expected outcomes include: a. Novel frameworks for AI-arts collaboration; b. Scalable tools and platforms for creative and educational use; c. Evidence-based insights into arts-driven skills development; d. Policy recommendations supporting AI integration in CCIs; e. Pilot demonstrations in real-world environments across Europe.
