About
Contemporary museum discourse is re-evaluating the role of museums, opening up new themes and approaches to working with collections in ways that are modern, inclusive, and more accessible to visitors. Our main research themes focus on identity, civic engagement, and transformation. At the same time, an important question arises as to how to effectively communicate contemporary topics to target audiences in a digital age characterised by an abundance of information. The digitalisation of museum collections, participatory and inclusive approaches, the publication of partial results, and strong ethical considerations form part of a broader strategy to deepen these themes and establish applicable methodological frameworks for their exploration.
