About
Tangible and intangible cultural heritage in the historical environment. Arts and crafts with the AI ıntegration
Site-Specific AI Insights and Tools: Guidelines and tools supporting full AI integration become available to local restorers, municipal planners, and stakeholders. These are specifically tailored to the vernacular wooden architecture and traditional techniques of pilot cases in Kocaeli, providing methods for structural health monitoring and digital preservation strategies with AI based technologies.
Co-created Scenarios for Local Heritage: Scenarios for solutions tailored to area's maritime culture and architectural identity become available. These utilize high-quality digitization, AI aided products and data sources, combined with inclusive cooperation processes that involve local residents in "digital twin" co-creation and oral history mapping in the context of living lab.
Ethical AI for Accessibility and Inclusion: These solutions specifically address the needs of persons with disabilities or the elderly—for instance, by providing immersive digital access to historic houses on steep, narrow streets—while fostering innovative business models for local crafts, such as the traditional craftsmanship, fishing and agriculture.
