Looking to form consortium for housing-led approaches
Executive Director at Asociația PRIMA DATĂ ACASĂ
Romania
About
We are interested in expanding our capacity to be able to provide housing for more categories in the ETHOS classification and, together with local architects and engineers, upgrading our housing type and developing a NEB aligned housing unit. Our current housing unit uses a timber frame with conventional materials (gypsum board, rockwool, polystyrene). Our ambition is to develop a housing unit that is modular, low cost, built with local natural materials, aligned with national NZEB regulations or above them, offers improved indoor air quality, and integrates nature-based solutions for water management and energy production.
Asociatia ACASA is a Romanian NGO operating in Cluj-Napoca. It has 25+ years of experience in delivering a housing-led approach for addressing homelessness through the provision of permanent housing for people living in inadequate housing, under the ETHOS classification.
