About

The European construction sector faces an urgent need to decarbonise, improve climate resilience, and integrate circularity principles while maintaining affordability, safety, and architectural Working areas of the Resource Efficiency and Clean Energy Research Group are Sustainable Environmental Management, Environmental Technologies, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and Sustainable Consumption and Production. The group contributes to the sustainable development and preservation of natural resources in Türkiye with the new projects as well as the technical support (energy, water, raw materials, etc.), consultancy, training, and testing services for the public and industrial sectors. Our field of study has a close relationship with the implementation of Türkiye's strategic goals and plans related to the Green Deal. Environmental impact analysis performed by our group contributes to the effective and efficient management of resources. In addition, the group also leads to the development and dissemination of relevant cleaner production technologies in order to achieve resource efficiency potential in the Turkish manufacturing industry.
