About
We are a medium-sized municipality representing 94,000 inhabitants, with solid experience in managing and implementing European-funded projects and a strong capacity to participate as an active partner in international consortia. As a newly designated UNESCO Creative City, our strategic focus aligns with the New European Bauhaus principles, promoting sustainable urban development through the revitalisation of historical buildings and heritage areas by means of culture, creativity, and community engagement. We are particularly interested in collaborating within consortia addressing circular economy approaches, repair, adaptive reuse, and the transformation of underutilised spaces, especially historic assets, into vibrant cultural and social hubs. Our objective is to reintegrate these spaces into the city’s cultural life cycle, strengthening local identity, social cohesion, and environmental responsibility while fostering innovation, inclusiveness, and long-term urban resilience while promoting collaborative governance and sustainable economic opportunities for citizens and stakeholders alike.
