Scaling Living Infrastructure Across European Cities
Founder at Liven World
Netherlands
About
Liven World is initiating a European project cooperation to develop and scale Living Infrastructure as a systemic layer within urban development.
While housing delivery remains a central focus across Europe, the integration of mobility, preventive care, community governance and digital coordination into a coherent urban framework is still largely fragmented. We aim to address this structural gap.
Our ambition is to form a consortium aligned with the principles of the New European Bauhaus to:
• Develop a replicable Living Infrastructure framework
• Pilot the model in multiple European cities
• Measure social, economic and environmental impact
• Integrate mobility, care, community and digital systems into long-term urban ecosystems
We are seeking:
• European cities interested in acting as pilot or replication environments
• Universities and research institutions for impact assessment and system validation
• Experienced EU funding coordinators (Horizon Europe / NEB Facility)
• Innovation partners in mobility, health integration and digital platforms
Our goal is not a standalone project, but the development of a scalable and policy-relevant model that contributes to resilient, inclusive and sustainable neighbourhoods across Europe.
