ACEAA | Architecture, biodiversity, multispecies design and participatory innovation for Horizon Europe consortia

ACEAA – Association for the Study and Innovation in Architecture – is a New European Bauhaus Community Partner based in Spain seeking collaboration in Horizon Europe and NEB consortia.

Our expertise lies at the intersection of architecture, biodiversity, participatory design, multispecies research, biodesign, ecological mapping and experimental spatial practices.

We can contribute to tasks related to:

• architectural and spatial design;

• biodiversity and nature-positive approaches;

• multispecies and more-than-human design;

• participatory and co-design methodologies;

• ecological, trans-scalar and thick mapping;

• biodesign and bio-based materials;

• adaptive reuse and regenerative design;

• interactive and sensory spatial environments;

• living labs and demonstrators;

• artistic and design-led research;

• stakeholder engagement;

• dissemination, communication and public engagement.

ACEAA is particularly interested in interdisciplinary projects connecting the built environment with ecological systems, social innovation, digital interaction and new forms of participation.

We are open to participating as a project partner and Task Leader, and to collaborating with universities, municipalities, research centres, NGOs, cultural institutions, SMEs, design practices and technology partners.

We are especially interested in Horizon Europe opportunities related to the New European Bauhaus, biodiversity, urban regeneration, climate adaptation, circularity, nature-based solutions and sustainable built environments.
