PhD Architect. Adjunct University Lecturer at ACEAA Space, Art ,and Action

About

ACEAA – Association for the Study and Innovation in Architecture – is a New European Bauhaus Community Partner based in Spain and is seeking to join a consortium preparing a proposal for HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-PARTICIPATION-03 – Understanding inhabitants’ experiences of neighbourhoods to support their health and well-being.

Our expertise lies at the intersection of architecture, interaction design, multispecies research, sensory experience, biodiversity and digital mediation of spatial environments.

We can contribute to tasks related to:

  • sensory and experiential analysis of neighbourhoods;

  • multispecies and more-than-human design;

  • interactive and responsive spatial environments;

  • digital mediation and ecological interfaces;

  • environmental perception and awareness;

  • participatory and design-led research;

  • thick mapping and qualitative spatial analysis;

  • relationships between human experience, non-human organisms and ecological processes;

  • artistic research and experimental design methods;

  • dissemination, communication and public engagement.

ACEAA is particularly interested in research exploring how spatial and digital environments can make ecological relationships perceptible and how this can influence awareness, care, public engagement and collective understanding of neighbourhood environments.

We are interested in contributing as a project partner and Task Leader, working with universities, municipalities, research organisations, interaction design groups, cultural institutions, NGOs and technology partners.
