About

Sparkline DOO is a Serbian SME seeking to join a consortium for HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-BUSINESS-03 – Approaches to reuse vacant, obsolete or underutilised spaces.

Sparkline specialises in landscape architecture, urban design, public realm and nature-based solutions, with extensive applied experience in transforming urban environments and developing implementable spatial solutions.

We can contribute expertise in:

• assessment and transformation of vacant and underutilised urban spaces
• landscape-led urban regeneration
• adaptive reuse strategies for outdoor and public spaces
• nature-based solutions and green infrastructure
• biodiversity-oriented landscape design
• trees, planting and climate-responsive design
• public-space programming and community-oriented environments
• walkability, accessibility and active mobility
• development of alternative spatial scenarios
• pilot and demonstration design
• scalable design strategies and practical implementation guidelines

Sparkline is particularly interested in exploring how vacant, obsolete and underused spaces can be transformed into multifunctional public landscapes that generate environmental, social and community value.

Potential approaches include the transformation of leftover urban land, brownfield areas, obsolete infrastructure spaces and underused municipal land into green public spaces, biodiversity areas, community spaces, green corridors and climate-resilient public realm.

Our particular contribution is bridging research, environmental objectives and spatial implementation: translating multidisciplinary findings into feasible landscape and urban-design scenarios that can be tested, replicated and ultimately implemented by municipalities, developers and other stakeholders.

We are interested in joining an existing or emerging consortium and contributing to work packages or tasks related to spatial assessment, regeneration strategies, nature-based solutions, pilot interventions and replication.
