Serbian Urban & Landscape Design SME Seeking Consortium for HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-PARTICIPATION-03

Sparkline DOO is a Serbian SME seeking to join an emerging consortium for HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-PARTICIPATION-03 – Understanding inhabitants’ experiences of neighbourhoods to support their health and well-being.

Sparkline specialises in landscape architecture, urban design, public realm and nature-based solutions, with extensive applied experience in the planning and design of public spaces and complex urban environments.

We can contribute expertise in:

• urban and landscape assessment
• nature-based solutions and green infrastructure
• trees, planting and biodiversity-oriented design
• shade, thermal comfort and climate-responsive public space
• walkability, accessibility and active mobility
• analysis of public-space use and spatial characteristics
• development of landscape and public-realm intervention scenarios
• pilot and demonstration design
• translation of environmental, social and health research into spatial solutions
• development of practical and scalable design guidelines

Sparkline is particularly interested in investigating how characteristics of the built and natural environment influence inhabitants’ health and well-being, community interaction, use of public space, access to nature, thermal comfort, biodiversity and quality of life.

Our particular value to a multidisciplinary consortium is research-to-design translation: converting research findings into realistic spatial interventions, pilot designs and practical recommendations that municipalities, planners and developers can implement and replicate.

We are interested in collaborating with an existing or emerging consortium and are open to contributing to specific tasks or work packages related to urban/landscape assessment, nature-based solutions, spatial design, pilot activities and replication.
