About

Galway Hospice is a specialist palliative care organisation operating across multiple care settings in the west of Ireland. As an end‑user stakeholder, we can support the development, co‑design and real‑world testing of innovations that enhance the quality of life of people living with cancer, including older adults. We can contribute practical insights from inpatient, day and community services, help refine interventions so they are person‑centred and feasible in routine care, and provide contextual understanding of patient, family and staff experience. Through our multidisciplinary teams and strong community links, we are able to meaningful engagement with patients and carers and help ensure that project outputs are implementable, relevant, and scalable across diverse care environments.
