Process Scale-Up Strategy for Research-Based Biotech Technologies
Chief consultant at The Other Innovation Institute ApS
Copenhagen, Denmark
About
We support academic and industry-led EU consortia in the scale-up of research-based biotech processes, focusing on strategy, technical feasibility, and risk reduction.
Our role is to translate laboratory-scale results into robust and realistic scale-up pathways, identifying technical bottlenecks, critical parameters, and development milestones needed to progress toward pilot or industrial-scale implementation. We work closely with researchers and industrial partners to align biological performance with process design, operational constraints, and downstream requirements.
Typical contributions include scale-up roadmapping, process assessment, definition of technical work plans and milestones, and support in selecting and interfacing with appropriate pilot facilities, CMOs, or industrial partners. We also contribute to proposal development and project execution by strengthening the technical scale-up logic.
This opportunity is relevant for EU consortia seeking an experienced partner to guide the scale-up of biological processes in a structured, scientifically grounded, and industrially relevant manner.
Stage
