About
What We Do
We bring research out of laboratories and anchor it in real buildings, real territories, real networks and real users.
Responsive Utility combines engineering sciences (energy systems, data, modelling, digital twins) with human and social sciences (uses, behaviours, change management) to design, test and deploy concrete climate and energy solutions under real operating conditions.
Our work relies on continuous access to real multi-fluid, multi-source and multi-horizon operational data (electricity, heat, gas, water, renewables, storage, mobility).
Expertise
-
Applied R&D on energy systems, flexibility and climate resilience
-
Real-time modelling of multi-energy systems based on operational data (not theoretical models)
-
Digital twins of buildings, sites and territories for decision support and scenario analysis
-
Climate adaptation for buildings and territories (heat stress, energy vulnerability, resilience)
-
Data-driven energy efficiency and performance monitoring
-
Integration of renewables, storage and electric mobility at building and district scale
-
Human and social dimensions of energy transition (uses, behaviours, social acceptance)
-
Real-world demonstrators with public authorities, healthcare facilities and local stakeholders
Availability
Responsive Utility is open to joining European R&I consortia under Horizon Europe Cluster 5 and EU Missions, as an applied R&D partner.
We bring operational credibility, access to real sites and real energy data, and strong experience in transforming research outputs into deployable, measurable and scalable solutions for public authorities, operators and end-users.
