About
As Doğuş Teknoloji, we propose to develop a software platform that integrates a knowledge base and educational modules with multi-sensor monitoring systems to support the protection, restoration, and sustainable management of blue forest ecosystems within a selected Mission “lighthouse” basin.
The platform will:
• Aggregate and visualize habitat condition, restoration outcomes, carbon sequestration metrics, biodiversity indicators, and fisheries-relevant data.
• Provide role-based interfaces for authorities, researchers, NGOs, coastal communities, and citizens.
• Deliver education, outreach, and community participation tools (learning pathways, citizen-science workflows, micro-grants participation modules).
• Support innovative financing and incentives (nature credits, blue carbon accounting views, project bankability assessments).
This platform requires collaboration and continuous guidance from domain experts (marine ecologists, restoration practitioners, MPA managers, carbon accounting specialists, fisheries scientists) to define data categories, quality standards, metrics, and workflows and to ensure policy alignment (e.g., Nature Restoration Regulation, MPA management effectiveness).
We will fulfill the below scope/outcomes of the call:
- Community Engagement and Education: Initiatives and actions that promote local community involvement and awareness through educational programs and stakeholders' engagement to ensure upscaling and replication.
