We can develop an AI-powered platform that focuses on data collection, integration, and quality enhancement using Generative AI (GenAI) techniques. The goal is to make climate-related data more accessible and actionable for regional and local authorities.

Key Contributions:

• Data Aggregation & Quality Improvement:

Collect climate and environmental data from multiple sources (e.g., Eurostat, Copernicus Climate Data Store, local sensors, municipal databases) and apply AI-driven validation to improve data integrity and completeness.

• Generative AI for Data Accessibility:

Use GenAI models to summarize, explain, and visualize complex datasets in user-friendly formats for decision-makers.

• Interactive Decision Support:

Integrate an LLM-based assistant into the platform, enabling users to ask questions like “What areas are most vulnerable to heatwaves?” or “Which regions have the highest water stress risk?”.

• Training & Dissemination:

Provide tailored training materials and guidance for municipalities on leveraging AI for climate adaptation.
