Development and series production of smart textile medical devices, white label
Director at AQ-Tech
Annecy, France
About
AQ-Tech engineers and manufactures textile medical devices for medical device manufacturers, white label. Mechanical engineering, embedded electronics and technical textiles work in a single team, with a prototyping workshop and a series production line in the same building near Annecy, in the French Alps. Your brand and your intellectual property remain yours.
What we develop and manufacture
-
Biomonitoring garments. Washable textile dry electrodes for ECG, EMG and bioimpedance, with embedded acquisition electronics and signal processing.
-
Electrostimulation garments. Integrated textile electrodes that replace adhesive pads, for rehabilitation, pain management and muscle recovery.
-
Pneumatic compression devices. HF-welded bladders, a compact pump block and electronic pressure regulation.
-
Wearable airbags. Mechanical or electronic triggering, for fall protection and the protection of medical exoskeletons.
-
Therapeutic functional textiles. LED photobiomodulation and heating, with LPM-encapsulated electronics.
We deliver either a single module, such as a textile electrode, a pump block, a trigger unit or integrated electronics, or the complete product.
How we work
-
Feasibility study, 6 weeks. A technical verdict, a proposed architecture, a budget and a timeline.
-
Proof-of-concept sprint, 8 to 12 weeks. A functional, testable prototype and a preliminary regulatory or standards analysis.
-
Development and industrialisation. Design freeze, validation and support for the technical file.
-
Production. From 10 to 5,000 units, with traceability, certified medical devices included.
Proof of production
We currently produce a Class IIa certified medical device in-house, in clinical trial, and manufacture a washable electrostimulation garment in series. Every component is qualified through standardised washing protocols, with a test report.
Who this is for
R&D directors, product managers and innovation teams at medical device companies with a textile or wearable project, or a project blocked on signal quality, washing durability, integration of electronics or pneumatics, or the transition to series production.
