About
Responsible for the development of winter barley genotypes tailored to the drought‑prone conditions of Central Anatolia. Research focuses on both feed and food barley, as well as the development of specialty types such as colorful barley. Particular interest lies in utilizing wild relatives in breeding programs and in the evaluation and conservation of barley genetic resources to strengthen resilience, diversity, and long‑term sustainability.
