About
suHCO (Systemic Sustainability Transition Solution for Health Care Organisations) is a European project funded by the Horizon Europe programme and implemented through a Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) scheme. The project aims to accelerate the transition of health and care organisations towards environmental sustainability by stimulating the development of innovative digital solutions.
Through the PCP process, suHCO will invest in research and development to create an AI-powered, horizontal planning and execution-driven system that helps healthcare organisations measure, plan and implement sustainability actions. The solution is intended to support decision-making, improve resource efficiency and enable organisations to systematically reduce their environmental impact while maintaining high standards of care.
The project brings together a consortium of public healthcare organisations, research institutions and procurement experts from across Europe. By engaging both healthcare providers and technology suppliers, suHCO seeks to foster innovation, open new markets for sustainable healthcare solutions and contribute to the European Green Deal objectives.
Within this framework, suHCO is particularly interested in engaging with technology suppliers, SMEs, startups, research organisations and innovation-driven companies working in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital health platforms, data analytics, sustainability management and circular economy solutions that could contribute to developing the future solution through the PCP process.
