Remote monitoring of newborns and/or children

Innovation at DKV Servicios

Barcelona, Spain

About

The challenge still has to be further detailed. But an initial summary:

We are looking for innovative solutions for the remote monitoring of newborns and/or children at home. The goal is to track vital signs, detect complications, identify potential illnesses, assess neurological development, provide support with feeding (e.g., whether the baby eats well, schedules, recommendations, potential intolerance detection) or sleep (whether the baby sleeps well and identification of sleep-related issues). We aim to find reliable and accessible digital tools that enable continuous, safe, and personalized monitoring of a baby/children’s wellbeing from home.

In terms of the solution and/or vendor features, we are looking for:

·       Digital solutions, ideally without the need for hardware.

·       Evidence-based approaches.

·       Clinical evidence proven, and ideally economic as well.

·       Mature solutions, already on the market or ready to enter the market (either local or foreign). A minimum TRL of 6.

·       Technology that leverages AI, machine learning, or other disruptive technologies will be prioritized.

·       Inclusive and friendly UX.

·       Plan for Spanish adaptation: if you are not a Spanish company, you must have a plan for adapting the solution to the Spanish population.

·       Legal & regulatory compliant at the European level

Potential collaboration models, if applicable:

·       Proof-of-concept / pilot testing with DKV

·       Client-provider collaboration (commercial agreement)
