Romanian NGO and Forest-Based Pilot Site for Living Labs, Biodiversity and One Health
Vicepresident at Asociatia Pasi prin Lume
Botosani, Romania
About
Pasi prin Lume is looking to join Horizon Europe consortia as a Romanian pilot and community engagement partner for nature restoration, biodiversity, One Health and systemic change projects.
We can provide access to a forest-based pilot site in Botosani County, north-eastern Romania, suitable for living labs, field demonstrations, co-creation, citizen engagement, inclusive nature-based activities and the testing of innovative solutions.
Through our networks with local authorities, schools, disability organisations, cultural institutions, children, young people and families, we can involve diverse rural and urban stakeholders, including persons with disabilities.
Our potential contributions include:
• establishing and implementing Romanian pilot activities;
• recruiting participants and coordinating local stakeholders;
• co-designing and testing accessible nature-based solutions;
• supporting citizen science and biodiversity monitoring;
• delivering education, training and awareness activities;
• dissemination, policy dialogue and replication at local and regional levels.
We are especially interested in HORIZON-NATURE topics related to transformative change for biodiversity, living labs for ecosystem restoration, scaling up nature restoration solutions, cost-effective biodiversity monitoring and the biodiversity–health interface under the One Health approach.
We seek universities, research organisations, municipalities, NGOs, innovative companies and project coordinators preparing proposals for the 2027 calls. We are open to joining consortia at an early stage and co-developing a credible Romanian pilot.
