About
Limak Cement’s R&D journey began in 2010 with the establishment of its accredited Central R&D Laboratory. Since 2022, the Limak Cement R&D Center has been officially recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Today, the center brings together over 30 researchers from diverse professional backgrounds, with 23% being women, representing more than 10 disciplines and advanced education levels. This diversity fosters strong collaboration and interdisciplinary innovation.
Currently, the center is managing R&D projects and partnering with esteemed universities, industry leaders, and governmental institutions, creating a dynamic ecosystem for sustainable innovation. Research activities focus on six key areas aligned with the company’s sustainability vision and the green transition:
