About
HORIZON-JU-CBE-2025-IA-02-SSbD CALL
We are a fully integrated upholstery fabric manufacturer based in Istanbul, Turkey, operating since 1980. Our in-house production covers the entire process of upholstery fabric manufacturing using raw materials such as polyester, polypropylene, acrylic, linen, wool, and viscose. From raw material procurement to finished fabric, all stages are handled internally. We produce upholstery fabric through various yarn types (chenille, fancy, air-textured, intermingled, etc.) and processes including warping, weaving, dyeing, finishing, coating, and lamination, all within our facility.
🏭 Our Capabilities
• We have pilot-scale production capacity in yarn, weaving, finishing, dyeing, and coating.
• Our advanced in-house laboratory is equipped to conduct yarn and fabric performance tests as well as flammability tests in compliance with international standards.
🏭 Current Focus – Bio-Based Water Repellency
In line with Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) principles, we have developed a bio-based water and oil repellent chemical for polypropylene upholstery fabrics that eliminates the need for conventional PFAS-based finishing chemicals. Extensive lab and production-scale trials have demonstrated superior results in both functionality and ecology. We aim to expand this success by conducting trials on other fiber types.
The developed finishing and flame-retardant chemicals can be applied in our facility; both pilot and mass production can be carried out using different raw materials. Additionally, the fabrics produced can be tested according to international standards.
We also have the capacity to conduct detailed literature research when needed.

With our integrated production structure and digitalized process management in the upholstery fabric sector, our company is a strong stakeholder capable of contributing to EU-funded projects in various dimensions. We are open to collaboration particularly in digital transformation and circular economy areas such as close-loop water management, water recovery and reuse in processes, AI-supported production systems, digital twin technologies, ERP-based sustainable data management, and textile-to-textile recycling.
