Social research, user studies, societal impact assessment

Crédoc is a French research centre specialising in the analysis of lifestyles, behaviours and societal change, with longstanding expertise in digital technologies and their uses.

We can contribute to Horizon Europe projects through :

• large-scale quantitative surveys and representative population research;

• qualitative research and user studies;

• analysis of technology adoption, digital uses and user behaviours;

• digital inclusion, accessibilty, inequalities and barriers to adoption;

• analysis of attitudes, perceptions and trust;

• social and societal impact assessment;

• translation of research findings into policy recommendations.

Our experience includes long-term research on digital pratices and inequaliies (through the French Digital Barometer and studies conducted fo public authorities for instance).

For Virtual Worlds and immersive technologies, Crédoc can contribute to the human-centered and societal dimensions of projects by studying users and non-users, conditions of adoption, inclusion, accessibility or broader social impacts.
