Partner offer: Improved system design for innovative PV applications
R&D Funding Coordinator at Global Biosciences Center, SGS
Lisbon, Portugal
About
GBC can assess the impact of PV systems on biodiversity, assessing it prior and after “interventions” and/or by performing a thorough monitorization throughout time, analysing community or individuals responses to these anthropogenic stressors. Most relevant species can be targeted or one can perform a full scan; samples can be air, water, surfaces swabs, and others. GBC can also provide soil microbiome analysis.
For topic HORIZON-CL5-2026-11-D3-14: Improved system design for innovative PV applications (EUPI-PV Partnership), GBC can specifically contribute to:
-
Harvesting of crops and photovoltaic electricity, providing sustainable solutions for energy production/use/efficiency, soil and biodiversity protection and water conservation.
-
Advanced system components and system concepts/architectures of adequate scale that minimise impact on land/sea/environment while maximizing energy output/optimising connection to the grid
-
balancing economic development with environmental conservation (notably biodiversity).
