My organisation

Jagiellonian University Medical College is a part of the Jagiellonian University – the oldest higher education institution in Poland and one of the oldest in Europe. The Jagiellonian University was recognised by international databases such as Web of Science and Elsevier Scopus as possessing the most prolific researchers in Poland, publishing the most academic papers. In 2018, it was the only Polish and Eastern European higher education institution in Reuters’ Top 100: Europe’s Most Innovative Universities ranking. JU MC is an heir to the long tradition of educating highly specialised medical personnel for the entire healthcare system. The status of the oldest educational institution in Poland obligates us to maintain the highest standards in teaching, research, and clinical activity. As per or motto: “INSPIRED BY THE PAST, WE SHAPE THE FUTURE”, we continue the work of our renowned graduates and professors to meet the new challenges of modern times.
