Associate Prof Cagla Aydin at Sabanci University is looking for outstanding post-doctoral researchers who are willing to apply for Marie Sklodowska – Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) 2023 call.

HOST: Cagla Aydin’s expertise is on cognitive and social factors associated with how we form and retain autobiographical memories and how this may differ across individuals. She also examines how language, age, psychopathology and culture interacts with remembering processes. Her research approach is multifaceted. She explores these topics from many different angles, including life span development from early childhood to old age, across various psychological disorders and across cultures, with psycholinguistic, computational methods and EEG analysis when relevant.

OFFER DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS: The potential applicants are expected to have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: autobiographical memory, collective memory, memory and language development, aging and memory and language. Candidates are encouraged to study these topics in relation to clinical conditions, such as depression and PTSD. Candidates should have a strong research motivation with the enthusiasm to bring scientific questions to successful conclusions. Researchers of any nationality holding a doctoral degree and those who have not resided in Turkey for more than 12 months in the three years before the call deadline (13 Sept 2023) are eligible to apply.
