EVBB Annual Conference: The EU VET Strategy

The programme will include a guided visit to the interior of the Arc de Triomphe, offering access to spaces that are rarely open to the public, as well as an expected special visit to the Château de Versailles in partnership with the Campus de Versailles, a leading institution dedicated to tourism.

Located in the heart of Paris, the Louvre Museum is the world’s largest museum and one of France’s most iconic cultural landmarks. No visit to Paris is complete without experiencing the Eiffel Tower and the scenic banks of the River Seine. Perched on the highest hill in Paris, Montmartre is one of the city’s most charming and artistic neighborhoods. Once home to renowned artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, and Renoir, it is famous for its picturesque streets, lively atmosphere, and the magnificent Sacré-Cœur Basilica, which offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Paris.

Approximately 1 hour from Paris, the Château de Chantilly is one of France’s most elegant Renaissance estates. Surrounded by magnificent gardens, tranquil lakes, and one of the country’s largest forests, it is home to the prestigious Condé Museum, which houses an exceptional collection of paintings, manuscripts, and rare books. Renowned for its stunning architecture, equestrian heritage, and the birthplace of the famous Chantilly cream, the estate offers visitors a perfect blend of history, art, and French refinement.

Approximately 3 hours from Paris, Étretat is one of Normandy's most breathtaking coastal destinations. Renowned for its dramatic white chalk cliffs, natural rock arches, and panoramic views over the English Channel, it inspired artists such as Claude Monet and writers including Guy de Maupassant. Visitors can enjoy scenic cliffside walks, charming seaside streets, and some of the most iconic coastal landscapes in France.

Approximately 4 hours from Paris, Mont-Saint-Michel is one of France’s most extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Rising dramatically from the sea, this medieval island is crowned by a stunning abbey and surrounded by breathtaking tidal landscapes. Its rich history, remarkable architecture, and unique setting make it one of the country’s most unforgettable destinations.
