Research collaboration - POLNOR

Scientific Researcher at Multidisciplinary Research Centre of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw

Warsaw, Poland

About

The Multidisciplinary Research Centre (MCB) is seeking research and industrial partners from Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein interested in submitting collaborative proposals under the POLNOR Programme.

We are looking for organisations developing innovative materials or manufacturing technologies that require expertise in material characterisation, alloy development, casting, or metal additive manufacturing. Our team can support the optimisation of casting and laser beam powder bed fusion (LB-PBF) processes, develop application-specific alloys tailored to industrial requirements, and assist with component design, topology optimisation, and performance validation.

MCB offers comprehensive materials research capabilities covering the entire development cycle. Our infrastructure includes advanced material characterisation (CT, XRD, SEM, mechanical testing, elevated-temperature testing, rheometry), vacuum arc melting, heat treatment, and additive manufacturing of metals, polymers, and ceramics. We have extensive expertise in Fe-, Ti-, and Cu-based alloys and are committed to translating research into industrial applications through international collaboration.

If your organisation is looking for a Polish research partner with strong expertise in advanced materials and manufacturing technologies, we would be pleased to discuss potential collaboration.
