About
La Rochelle Université (NUDD lab, France) is coordinating a Stage 1 pre-proposal for DUT Call 2026, Topic 3 : Nurture neighbourhood economies: activate innovation in local everyday offers , under the Innovation-Oriented Approach (IOA). The project examines what drives the persistence or disappearance of local retail and services in urban neighbourhoods, including the effects of growing digital commerce on residents' everyday use of local commercial offers — and what governance actors can do about it. A transnational consortium is being constituted. We are particularly interested in connecting with:
-
Research teams in urban geography or urban sociology with expertise on neighbourhood commercial structures, local retail transformation, or urban morphology
-
Urban Living Lab practitioners or governance actors engaged in local commercial policy
-
Platform economics researchers working on territorial markets
Expressions of interest welcome before end of September.
