La Rochelle University has chosen to focus its research on the “Sustainable Smart Urban Coastline”, which addresses the challenges of sustainable development in coastal areas.

La Rochelle University is a multidisciplinary public university in France with 8,691 students.
Founded in 1993 as part of the “new universities” initiative, its campus is located in the Minimes neighborhood of La Rochelle, in Charente-Maritime.
