About
I am seeking to join a European research consortium for the DUT Call 2026, particularly under the 15-minute City topic “Nurture neighbourhood economies – activate innovation in local everyday offers”.
I am an urban researcher and planner with a PhD in Urban Regeneration and Sustainability from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. My doctoral research examined the transformation and complementarity of high streets and shopping centres, providing a strong background in retail environments, urban vitality, and local economic dynamics.
I can contribute expertise in:
-
Urban regeneration and transformation
-
Neighbourhood economies and high streets
-
Urban planning and public space
-
GIS and spatial analysis
-
Space Syntax and spatial data analysis
-
Sustainable urban development
I am particularly interested in contributing to research on neighbourhood vitality, local everyday offers, spatial transformation, accessibility and the relationship between the built environment and local economic and social activity. I am open to contributing as a research partner, with potential involvement in spatial analysis, case-study research, urban diagnosis and the development of planning-oriented outputs.
