The World Gastronomy Network Kft. is thrilled to announce our innovative project, CYCLEFOOD NEXUS: Sustainable Gastronomy and Mobility for Inclusive Urban-Rural Futures, submitted under the DUT Call 2025, a Horizon Europe funding opportunity for climate-neutral and resilient cities. We are seeking dedicated consortium partners from DUT-eligible countries (Belgium, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden) to join us in this transformative initiative.
About CYCLEFOOD NEXUS:
CYCLEFOOD NEXUS aligns with the Circular Urban Economies Transition Pathway, focusing on:

Digital Traceability: Implementing blockchain-based solutions for transparent food supply chains.

Circular Economy Practices: Promoting sustainable sourcing, packaging, and logistics.

Community-Driven Entrepreneurship: Empowering local producers, especially women, youth, and underrepresented groups, through inclusive agrotourism models.

Participatory Living Labs: Testing sustainable solutions via our 8-month, 18,000 km European cycling tour across 28 cities, starting March 1, 2026.

Policy Development: Supporting the EU Green Deal and Farm to Fork Strategy with data-driven insights.
