URBAN2020 available to join or co-develop DUT 2025 consortia – expertise across all 3 Transition Pathways
About
URBAN2020 is a non-governmental organization focused on sustainable, inclusive, and innovative urban and regional development. We are open to joining or helping build consortia for DUT 2025 projects under any of the three Transition Pathways: 15-Minute City (15mC), Positive Energy Districts (PED), and Circular Urban Economy (CUE).
Our team combines experience in urban planning, co-creation, social inclusion, energy transition, smart development, youth engagement, and environmental justice. URBAN2020 played a key role in writing and winning the DUT 2023-funded PROWD project, which adapts the 15-Minute City concept to low-density urban areas. We are also active in other DUT-related initiatives on topics such as spatial justice, soil-inclusive planning, and mobility transitions.
We work at the intersection of policy, design, participation, and innovation — offering capacity in:
-
Integrated urban and regional planning
-
Architecture and design
-
Participatory processes and co-creation
-
Policy development and scenario building
-
Communication and stakeholder engagement
-
Youth involvement and social inclusion
Whether you are a municipality, research institution, SME, or civil society actor, we can join your consortium or help develop and shape project concepts, proposals, and partnerships. We are open to discussing different roles (partner, work package lead, or writing support) based on your needs.
