About
Sano offers clinical and technical expertise for Horizon Europe Cluster 1 Health and Mission Cancer consortia at the interface of radiology, trustworthy AI and real-world clinical adoption. The nominated participant, Dominik Stosik, MD, PhD, is a radiologist at University Hospital Krakow, where oncologic imaging is part of daily practice, and Clinical Advisor for AI & Digital Health at Sano, with standing participation in the ITU/WHO Focus Group on AI for Health (radiology). Competencies offered to consortia: (1) clinical validation and auditing of medical-AI products, including evidence assessment, bias and data-provenance review, robustness to out-of-distribution data, regulatory readiness (EU AI Act, MDR context) and workflow integration in radiology. (2) Sano's computational-medicine portfolio: AI for medical imaging, clinical decision support with human-in-the-loop design, in-silico modelling and digital twins, backed by HPC resources at ACC Cyfronet AGH. (3) Implementation and adoption studies in Central-European hospital settings, from clinical pathway analysis to pilot and PoC design. We are looking for consortia preparing 2027 Cluster 1 Health and Mission Cancer proposals that need a clinical partner from a widening country (Poland) for validation, trustworthy-AI work packages or clinical decision-support development, matching topics such as HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-TOOL-01. Objectives for the brokerage event: present these competencies in the pitching session, hold pre-arranged bilateral meetings with coordinators, and join one or two consortia as a partner.
