About
We offer the “Umax Intelligence Stack” as an enabling digital infrastructure for consortium proposals under HORIZON-MISS-2027-02-CANCER-04.
Cancer outcomes and health-systems research often rely on fragmented clinical records and periodic assessments, providing limited visibility into patients’ experiences between hospital visits. Umax Intelligence Stack is designed to support longitudinal data collection, remote follow-up and continuity of care across hospital, home and community settings.
What we offer:

An end-to-end architecture combining our own wearable multi-sensor device for physiological data acquisition, a patient-facing mobile application, a professional web application, AI-supported analytics and role-based dashboards.

An open integration architecture supporting compatible third-party sensor technologies through project-specific interfaces, including potential integration with personal dosimetry devices for relevant radiotherapy or radiation-monitoring use cases.

Longitudinal collection and integration of physiological signals, patient-reported outcomes, symptoms, quality-of-life measures, activity and relevant contextual data.

Configurable digital workflows for patient onboarding, appointment scheduling, follow-up planning, remote monitoring and multi-centre research.

Integrated online meeting capabilities supporting telehealth follow-ups, remote consultations and patient-professional communication, subject to study protocols and applicable regulations.

Structured and traceable data pipelines with data-quality monitoring and project-specific integration interfaces for clinical, registry and research systems.

Research and clinical dashboards for exploring individual trends, participant progress, cohort-level patterns and outcomes.

A privacy-by-design approach intended to support GDPR, EHDS, FAIR-data and interoperability requirements.
Relevance to CANCER-04:
The platform can help generate real-world evidence on quality of life, symptom burden, treatment-related experiences, continuity of care, access to services and the performance of cancer-care pathways.
When combined with clinical, registry, healthcare-utilisation and cost data provided by consortium partners, these longitudinal datasets can contribute to outcomes research, health-systems research, cost-effectiveness assessment and value-driven cancer care. The integrated workflow, appointment and telehealth tools can also support the evaluation of new organisational models for delivering coordinated cancer care in clinical, home and community settings.
Our proposed role:
We aim to participate as the consortium’s digital health technology and data partner. We can lead or contribute to tasks covering digital architecture, remote data-capture workflows, appointment and follow-up processes, telehealth enablement, sensor and mobile-app deployment, data integration, data-quality processes, AI-supported analytics, dashboards and technical validation.
The analytics are intended to support research and human-led clinical evaluation rather than autonomous diagnosis or treatment decisions.
Where a project includes a clinical study, we can support electronic remote data capture, technical documentation, digital study workflows and study-data management. Clinical leadership, study sponsorship, participant recruitment, regulatory approvals and health-economic methodology should remain with the relevant clinical and research partners.
What we are looking for:
We seek an experienced coordinator or developing CANCER-04 consortium involving cancer centres, hospitals, health-systems and outcomes researchers, health economists, patient organisations, healthcare authorities and data-governance experts.
We are particularly interested in consortia planning multi-country research and validation across hospital, home and community settings. Our preferred role is as an SME technology partner, with the possibility of leading a work package or task related to the digital platform, remote monitoring, telehealth workflows, data integration or analytics.
Core platform components are currently at TRL 5-6 and build on previous R&D and pilot activities. Its modular architecture can be configured and further developed for the cancer use cases, research or clinical protocols, data flows and care pathways defined by the consortium, followed by interoperability work, multi-centre validation and real-world deployment.
