Sano – Centre for Computational Personalised Medicine is an international research foundation in Kraków, Poland, established through the EU Horizon 2020 Teaming for Excellence programme, the Foundation for Polish Science (IRAP), and the Polish Ministry of Science. Sano develops advanced computational methods — AI/ML, modelling and simulation, and large-scale data analytics — for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease, with the explicit mission of translating them into clinical practice.
Our research teams cover medical imaging and robotics, computational neuroscience, personal health data science, genomics, and extreme-scale data and computing, working closely with teaching hospitals and MedTech partners in Kraków and with an international network including the University of Sheffield (Insigneo), Forschungszentrum Jülich and Fraunhofer ISI. Sano holds the EC’s HR Excellence in Research distinction.
At this event we are looking for Horizon Europe 2027 consortia in Cluster 1 Health and Mission Cancer — as clinical, AI and computational modelling partner.
