About
The UdA MedChemLab offers a dynamic, collaborative environment for the co-development and implementation of cutting-edge research initiatives and preclinical studies focused on long-term care, prevention, and management of both non-communicable diseases, and infectious diseases.
Major research interests focus on the development of bioactive small molecules targeting new promising molecular targets involved in microbial survival, replication, virulence, and host–pathogen interactions, as well as host pathways contributing to infection-related pathological processes.
We are seeking partners with complementary expertise to join multidisciplinary consortia and collaboratively develop impactful, innovation-driven projects aimed to the development of tailored, targeted therapeutic strategies in infectious diseases, including other pathological processes associated with infections.
