Academic and Clinical Validation Partner for Personalized Medicine and Polypharmacy Management

Associate Professor, Department of Internal Medicine at Lithuanian university of health sciences

Kaunas, Lithuania

About

The Department of Internal Medicine at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) seeks to join Horizon Europe consortia developing personalized strategies to prevent adverse drug reactions associated with polypharmacy.

As Lithuania's largest internal medicine clinical center, with more than 200 inpatient beds, our department provides access to substantial populations of older, frail, and multimorbid patients receiving complex medication regimens.

Our academic team includes three professors, three associate professors, ten researchers holding doctoral degrees, and four doctoral candidates, offering strong clinical research expertise and opportunities for interdisciplinary R&D collaboration.

We can contribute to clinical study design, patient recruitment, medication safety research, assessment of drug-related outcomes, and clinical validation of personalized treatment strategies, pharmacogenomic approaches, and AI-assisted clinical decision support systems.

We welcome partnerships with research institutions and technology developers seeking an academic clinical partner to evaluate innovative approaches to safer, more effective medication management in real-world healthcare settings.
