Business Development Manager at Clinical Research Platform
Dublin, Ireland
About
I am the Business Development Manager at Clinical Research Platform (CRP), an Irish Site Management Organisation supporting Phase II–IV clinical trials across a national network of hospital-based research sites.
With extensive experience in clinical research operations and management, I have played a key role in developing and expanding CRP's clinical research network, working closely with healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies, Contract Research Organisations (CROs) and academic institutions to facilitate the successful delivery of clinical studies across a wide range of therapeutic areas.
My background includes clinical trial operations, site development, study feasibility, regulatory and ethics processes, patient recruitment strategies and the management of multidisciplinary research teams. I have a strong understanding of the practical challenges involved in delivering clinical research within hospital settings and the importance of building effective partnerships between healthcare providers, researchers and industry.
In my current role, I focus on identifying new research opportunities, developing strategic collaborations and strengthening CRP's relationships with national and international research partners. I am particularly interested in expanding our involvement in European-funded research initiatives, including Horizon Europe and the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI), where our established clinical research infrastructure and operational expertise can contribute to multinational research projects.
I am passionate about strengthening Ireland's clinical research capabilities, supporting innovation in healthcare and improving patient access to emerging treatments. I welcome opportunities to connect with organisations, research consortia and industry partners interested in collaborative clinical research, healthcare innovation and the translation of scientific advances into clinical practice.
