Clinical Research Platform (CRP) is an Irish Site Management Organisation (SMO) dedicated to expanding and enabling clinical research across hospitals and clinics nationwide. Established in 2017, CRP provides the infrastructure, research personnel, and operational oversight required to deliver high-quality clinical trials efficiently.
We operate a network of active research sites supported by teams of research coordinators, nurses, and administrators who manage the day-to-day conduct of studies, allowing investigators to focus on clinical responsibilities. Acting as a central point of contact for feasibility, start-up, and study delivery, CRP ensures consistency and streamlined communication for sponsors, CROs, and investigators alike.
Ireland remains one of the least active countries in Western Europe for clinical research participation. CRP is actively addressing this gap, with 42 studies initiated across our network in 2024 and a similar number projected for 2025. Our sites have delivered several global first recruits and have ranked among the top recruiting centres worldwide.
Through collaboration, efficiency, and a commitment to quality, CRP is positioning Ireland as a more competitive and attractive location for clinical research, ultimately improving patient access to innovative therapies.
I am the Business Development Manager at Clinical Research Platform (CRP), an Irish Site Management Organisation supporting Phase II–IV clinical trials across a national network of hospitals.
